Admirals Sign Gaudreau to AHL Deal

Milwaukee, WI—The Admirals announced today that they have signed center Frederick Gaudreau to an American Hockey League contract for the 2014-15 season.

Gaudreau played parts of three seasons with the Shawinigan Cataractes of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from the 2011-12 until the 2013-14, before being dealt mid-season to the Drummondville Voltigeurs. Even though he played only a small portion of the games with the Voltigeurs, Gaudreau ranked sixth among his teammates in points and averaged more than a point per game (40 points in 36 games). In the 2013-14 playoff games, he led the team in scoring with 10 goals.

During his time with Shawinigan he tallied 31 goals and 63 assists for 94 points in 159 contests.

Season tickets for the 2014-15 season are on sale now, starting for as little as $185. The Admirals home opener for next season is set for Friday, October 10th at 7:00 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The complete schedule will be released later this summer.
