Ads Sign Miceli to AHL Contract

Milwaukee, WI—The Admirals have signed center Angelo Miceli to an American Hockey League contract for the 2017-18 season.

Miceli averaged more than a point a game with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL) last season, leading the club with 77 points (22g-55a) in just 68 games and he was fourth in the league in assists. Miceli also skated in one game with the Texas Stars last season, earning an assist on the Stars’ lone goal. He tallied three goals and an assist in 29 games with the St. John’s IceCaps in 2015-16.

The Montreal, QE native played four years of junior hockey for the Victoriaville Tigres (QMJHL), leading the team in scoring in his final two seasons.

Miceli and the Admirals will kick off the 2017-18 campaign in Iowa against the Wild on Oct. 7. They will begin the home portion of the schedule on Friday, October 20th at 7 pm against the Hershey Bears at Panther Arena.
