Ads Pen Mingoia to AHL Contract
Milwaukee, WI—The Admirals have signed right wing Trevor Mingoia to an American Hockey League contract for the 2017-18 season.
Mingoia spent last season with the Atlanta Gladiators (ECHL) where he tallied 21 goals and added 19 assists for 40 points while skating in 60 games in his first full professional season. He has played in six career AHL contests, including two last season with San Antonio and four in 2015-16 with the Albany Devils.
The Fairport, NY native played his college hockey at Providence where he notched 83 points (34g-49a) in 102 career games. During his senior season he was second on the team in points (37) and tied for second with a +24 rating while the Friars to the NCAA Tournament.
Mingoia and the Admirals will kick off the 2017-18 campaign in Iowa against the Wild on Oct. 7. They will begin the home portion of the schedule on Friday, October 20th at 7 pm against the Hershey Bears at Panther Arena.
