Go for the Goal(d) with the Admirals

Milwaukee, WI – While the US Olympic Team is going for gold in Beijing, Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg wants you to Go for the Goal(d) with the Admirals. Not only will you not pull a hamstring when you Go for the Goal(d) with the Ads, but you also will also save a load of money!

Beginning today, 8/8/08, and running through the end of the Olympics on August 25th, the Admirals are offering eight tickets in the Stern & Bow sections for any game prior to Christmas for only $88, a savings of $40 off the face value of the tickets. The tickets can be used in any increment to any of the team’s 12 games that happen before December 25th, but the games need to be selected in advance. And while Michael Phelps might win eight goal medals, there is a limit of just one Admirals’ Goal(d) per person.

Out of those 12 contests in 2008, nine of them are on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and eight different teams will visit the Bradley Center during that time.

“In the true spirit of the Olympics we are pleased to offer the Go for the Goal(d) packages, although the physical exertion to get the Goal(d) with us is considerably less,” noted Greenberg, himself a gold medal winner at the 1983 St. Francis Wheelbarrow Race with an up-and-coming Mike Wojciechowski. “We will continue our tradition of offering great action both on and off the ice and we are excited for the season to begin.”

The Go for the Goal(d) packages can be purchased either in person at the Admirals offices, located at 510 W. Kilbourn Ave, or by phone at (414) 227-0550. In addition to the Goal(d) package, season tickets for the upcoming season are now on sale. For more information on season tickets fans should call the Admirals office or click here. The Admirals will open the regular season on Saturday, October 11th in Houston and begin play at the Bradley Center on Saturday, October 18th against the Rockford IceHogs at 7:30 pm.
