Celebrate 35 Years of Pro Hockey With Us!

Milwaukee, WI—With 35 days to go until the Milwaukee Admirals home opener on October 19th, the team announced today that it will celebrate 35 years of professional hockey this season.

Since 1977-78, their first professional season, over 800 players have sported Admirals sweaters and this year the team is out to find the Top 35 Ads of All-Time. The list will be determined by a fan vote (click here to vote NOW) and also by a blue ribbon panel of Admirals experts. Voting starts now and will run through November 23, exactly 35 days after the home opener. The list will be unveiled over the course of the remainder of the season.

In addition to the Top 35 Admirals of All-Time, the team is also commemorating 35 years of professional hockey a number of other ways. At each game throughout the season the Ads will air the favorite memory of one of their significant alumni and these memories, along with their extended sit-down interviews, will all be aired at milwaukeeadmirals.com.

Plus, at each Friday game throughout the course of the season, the Admirals will have a station outside section 211 for fans to stop by and give their favorite memories, which will also be shared on the team website.

The Admirals will kick off the 2012-13 regular season in Grand Rapids on Friday, October 12th before commencing the home portion of their schedule against the Charlotte Checkers on Friday, October 19th at 7:00 pm.

Individual tickets will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, September 18th at 9:00 am. However, season ticket holders and those interested in groups of ten or more people can purchase tickets now! Fans interested in season tickets, which start for as little at $175, can call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550 or go online to www.milwaukeeadmirals.com for more information.
