Milwaukee, WI—The Admirals announced the first phase of the 2016-17 promotional schedule today which features many of the team's signature giveaways, concerts and special events as the team begins play at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

The promotional schedule kicks off at the home opener, Saturday, October 29th when all fans take home a magnet schedule of the 2016-17 season, thanks to OxiClean and Pick N’ Save.

Highlighting the promotional schedule will be a presidential bobblehead straw poll on November 5. For the Admirals Decision 2016, presented by WisPolitics.com, fans will choose a bobblehead of either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, courtesy of Robert Haack Diamonds, as they come through the Panther Arena doors. There are 2,500 bobbleheads allotted for each candidate and the first one to run out will be declared the winner of the Ads Straw Poll.  

With the move the UWMPA this season, the Admirals will have many more food and beverage specials, include the introduction of Taco Tuesdays. At all Tuesday home games fans can purchase two tacos and a regular fountain drink for just $5! In addition, the team will offer $2 beers/$2 popcorn or $2 hot dogs/$2 sodas at select games.

The Admirals Concert Series will continue at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena this season and it will include post-game country music concerts on February 10th and April 8th. Performers for those shows as well as other dates in the series will be released at a later date.

The Milwaukee Brewers will again have three separate giveaways during the upcoming season. They will present Brewers/Admirals Winter Bomber Hats to the first 2,500 fans on January 13th, and the first 2,500 fans to the game on February 11th will take home a Brewers/Admirals Duffel Bag. Lastly, the Brewers will offer buy one, get one FREE ticket vouchers for a 2017 game for all fans on April 1.

In addition, the Admirals and Brewers will once again team up for the 2-Man Advantage Ticket Plan, which features an Admirals ticket to one of the Brewers promo nights, and a ticket to one of three select 2017 Brewers games for just $22. These packages will go on sale at a future date.

New to the Ads promotional list this season include a tribute to the 40th Anniversary of the iconic hockey movie Slap Shot. The team will wear specialty jerseys that look those worn by the Chiefs in the 1976 smash-hit movie and the team will show the movie on the video board following the game. In addition, the infamous Hanson Brothers from the movie will be at the game to meet fans and sign autographs.

The team will bring back many of the popular promotional giveaways from previous seasons, such as Saz’s Schedule Pens (3,500) on November 12, Gruber Law Offices/Admirals T-Shirts (4,000) on November 26th, We Energies Calendars (all fans) on December 10th, Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Cowbells (5,000) on December 26th, TSMGI/Admirals Winter Hats on December 28th, Children’s Hospital Water Bottles (2,500 kids 14 & under) on Feb. 19th, Palermo’s Pizza Plates (3,500) on March 4th,  and Fan Appreciation Night with team pictures for all fans, courtesy of Saz’s, on April 15th.

The world renowned University of Wisconsin Badger Marching Band will perform on Friday, February 3rd, including a special 4th Intermission on the ice following the game, courtesy of Pegasus Partners.

The Admirals will celebrate their annual ICAT Logistics Salute to Wrestling on Sunday, February 21st with the visiting wrestlers still to be determined and March 26th will be Purina Dog Day Afternoon where fans can bring their dogs to the game.

The Admirals are also proud to offer all Veterans and active military personnel and their families free tickets to the team’s game on Friday, November 12th with Military Appreciation Night, courtesy of United Steelworkers Local 209. This is the 12th consecutive year that the team has hosted this special night.

Potawatomi Hotel & Casino will also continue to sponsor Chuck-a-Puck, where fans can purchase foam pucks at select games for $1 and then throw them onto the ice for a chance to win great prizes. The proceeds from Chuck-a-Puck go to the Milwaukee Admirals Power Play Foundation, which is the team’s charitable arm.

The Aurora Sports Medicine Institute Autograph Corner also returns for another year. At 20 different games during the season two Admirals players will sign autographs after the game in the Autograph Corner, which is located outside section 225.

The Ads also provide many ticket specials for fans, including the popular Wendy’s/Private Bank Family Day where fans can get two “Light Blue” section tickets and two Wendy’s Meal Deals for just $26. This deal is available on November 23, December 28, February 19, March 19, and March 26.

The Harley-Davidson Museum Breakaway Package also returns for the 2016-17 campaign. Available for every game, fans can get an Admirals “Light Blue” section ticket and a ticket to the Harley Davidson Museum for only $20!

Admirals Fair Deal Fridays are back in the ticket specials line up for the second year in a row. On select Fridays fans get a “Light Blue” section ticket and a ticket to the 2017 Wisconsin State Fair for only $16! This deal is available on November 4, February 3, February 17, March 17, April 7, and April 14.
