Gaudreau, Kamenev Assigned to Ads
Milwaukee, WI--Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile today announced that the team has assigned forwards Frederick Gaudreau and Vladislav Kamenev to the Admirals.
Gaudreau returns to the Admirals for his fourth season with the team after making his NHL debut and skating in nine regular-season contests for the Predators in 2016-17. The Bromont, Quebec, native then appeared in eight postseason outings for Nashville, beginning in the Western Conference Final against Anaheim and continuing into the Stanley Cup Final versus Pittsburgh where he scored three goals in the first four games of the Final.
The 6-foot, 179-pound forward posted 25 goals and 48 points in 66 games with the Admirals in 2016-17 before he was recalled to Nashville for the postseason run.
Kamenev finished second on the Admirals in scoring last season with 52 points on 21 goals and 31 assists, to go along with a team-best +11 rating. The Orsk, Russia native also made his NHL debut in 2016-17, playing in a pair of games for the Predators.
In two seasons with the Ads, Kamanev has recoreded 36 goals and 52 assists for 88 points, while skating in 127 contests.
Gaudreau, Kamenev and the Admirals begin the regular season with a pair of games this weekend against the Iowa Wild in Des Moines.
Milwaukee will open up the home portion of their schedule on Friday, October 20 at 7 pm against the Hershey Bears at Panther Arena.
