Preds Recall Five, Ads Add Six
Milwaukee, WI—Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Saturday that the club has recalled goaltender Juuse Saros from Milwaukee on an emergency basis, and also recalled forwards Frederick Gaudreau, Trevor Smith, Austin Watson and Harry Zolnierczyk from Milwaukee.
In addition the Admirals have recalled forwards Eric Robinson and Justin Kirkland, defenseman Jaynen Rissling, and goalie Mark Visentin from the Cincinnati Cyclones. Milwaukee has also signed forward Shawn O’Donnell and goalie Dov Grumet-Morris to Professional Tryout Contracts (PTO).
Saros has played the full 60 minutes in each of the Milwaukee Admirals' three games this season, posting a 3-0-0 record with a .964 save percentage and 1.00 goals-against average. He has made 81 saves and allowed just three goals in those three contests.
Gaudreau has recorded two shots on goal and two penalty minutes in three games for Milwaukee. Smith is tied for the team lead with two points (1g-1a), and has registered seven shots on goal, six penalty minutes and a +2 rating. Watson leads the Admirals with nine penalty minutes, and has scored one goal with a +1 rating. Zolnierczyk has recorded five shots on goal, four penalty minutes and a +1 rating in three games.
The Admirals visit the Rockford IceHogs tonight at 7 pm. The team will have their home opener on Saturday, October 29 at 6 pm at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
