Admirals Add to Promo Schedule

Milwaukee, WI – Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today an update to the promotional schedule for the 2010-11 season. The additions include live entertainment, promotional giveaways, and special fan nights.

Two more concerts have been announced including FM 106/ Miller Lite Country Music Night on January 28, headlined by CMA Award winner Rodney Atkins. Atkins is best known for hits such as “If You’re Going Through Hell”, “Watching You”, and “These Are My People”. In addition to the concert, the first 5,000 fans at the game will receive a pennant courtesy of Patrick Cudahy.

Also, Huey Lewis & The News will be performing on March 19, courtesy of Toyota, Time Warner Cable, Lee Jeans, and Miller Lite. These Grammy Award winners have been touring for over 30 years worldwide, and have sold over 20 million albums. Their Top Ten Hits include “Heart of Rock & Roll”, “Stuck With You”, and “Hip To Be Square”. Prior to the game, the first 3,000 fans will receive a Sendik’s Red Bag.

Both concerts take place after the game and are free with a game ticket.

The updated schedule includes two performances by child favorite the Inflatamaniacs. The Inflatamaniacs’ nationwide tour is currently underway and includes a stop in Milwaukee on January 8 and 9, thanks to Old Orchard Juice.

In addition to his December 29 concert, Pat McCurdy will return to the Bradley Center to entertain fans on April 1.

The Admirals have also added several promotional giveaways, including many for kids. These include Silly Bandz courtesy of Pepsi on March 27 for the first 2,500 kids 14 and younger, and temporary tattoos(1,500) and posters(2,500) provided by Children’s Hospital on January 2. The first 2,500 fans in attendance on March 25 will receive a UWM Cinch Sacks.

Frontier Airlines will provide one lucky fan with a $500 gift card at the games on December 29, February 11, and April 8. Fans are also invited to participate in Pedigree Dog Day Afternoon on March 27, by bringing their dog with them to the game. Tickets are $16 per person and $2 per dog, and are located in the 400 level. $1 from every dog ticket will go to the Wisconsin Humane Society.

On April 3, the first 2,500 fans will receive a license plate holder sponsored by Andrew Automotive. In addition, the Battle of the Badges will take place before the game, which features a contest between Milwaukee area police and fire departments to help raise money for the MACC Fund.
