Milwaukee, WI—The Admirals, along with Traction Factory, are proud to announce a new partnership with the Milwaukee Fire Department for the Warm Up Winter program which helps to provide winter coats for all children in need in Milwaukee.
The Admirals join the Warm Up Winter program, which is in its seventh year and has distributed over 36,500 coats, to help build awareness and raise money, most visible by wearing firefighter-themed warm-up jerseys at one game a month throughout the season. The jerseys, which were designed by Traction Factory, feature the Admirals crest inside a white Maltese cross and then a Warm Up Winter patch on the left shoulder and the MFD logo on the right shoulder.
At each game the jerseys are worn the team will auction one of them off with the proceeds benefitting the Warm Up Winter program. Then on April 6, the final day of game they will be worn, all of the jerseys will be auctioned off. In addition, Admirals goalies Troy Grosenick and Tom McCollum will wear specially designed firefighter-themed masks and these will be raffled off with the proceeds to benefit Warm Up Winter.
