Admirals Unveil The 35th Anniversary Site
Milwaukee, WI—The Milwaukee Admirals and BMO Harris Bank are proud to announce a new addition to MilwaukeeAdmirals.com today that celebrate 35 years of professional hockey for the Admirals. The 35th anniversary site, MilwaukeeAdmirals.com/35, honors players and staff who have helped keep Admirals hockey successful and memorable throughout the years.
Part of the celebration includes unveiling the Top 35 Admirals of All-Time. This list has been compiled by a joint fan vote and a committee of Admirals experts. Each week throughout the course of the season we will reveal new members of the list until we crown number one on Saturday, April 13th.
Additionally, Admirals play-by-play broadcaster Aaron Sims has conducted extensive interviews with some of the most significant people in team history. Players, coaches, and staff have all been included and share what shaped their experience with the Ads. Also, each of these people shared their most significant memory from their time in Milwaukee. These memories can be found on the new site and will be played on the BMO Harris Bradley Center video board during each game.
The lifeblood of any sports team is the fans. Without the fans there are no players, no games, no sponsors, no arenas. The Admirals have been lucky to have some of the best support in the both the AHL and IHL over the course of the last 35 years. At each Friday home game throughout the course of the season, the Ads encourage fans to share their favorite fan memory at the BMO Harris Bank Memory Lane located outside section 211. These memories will then be posted at MilwaukeeAdmirals.com/35
