Saros and Mazanec Trade Places
Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile today announced that the club has recalled goalie Juuse Saros from Milwaukee and assigned goalie Marek Mazanec to Milwaukee.
Saros is 1-2-0 with a 1.70 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage in three starts for the Predators this season, including a win in his second career start on Oct. 22 vs. Pittsburgh. The AHL’s goaltender of the month for November has posted an 11-2-0 record with a 1.76 goals-against average and .938 save percentage in 13 games with the Admirals this season.
Mazanec has appeared in four games for the Predators this season and is 0-2-0 with a 4.72 goals-against average and .839 save percentage. He is 3-1-0 with a 2.73 goals-against average and .886 save percentage in five games for the Admirals this season.
Mazanec will join the Admirals as they hit the road for a four-game road trip beginning with a pair of contests in Austin against the Stars this weekend. The Ads don't return home until after the Christmas break when they will play host to the Chicago Wolves at 7 pm on December 26.
