Admirals Cup Schedule Set
Milwaukee, WI – Milwaukee Admirals Governor/CEO Harris Turer announced today that the team will host the Admirals Cup presented by Bradley Corporation from December 26th through December 28th. For the fourth straight year the Admirals Cup will be an eight-team tournament and the games will take place at the Mullett Center on the campus of Hartland Arrowhead High School and at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The Admirals Cup is held in conjunction with a pair of 7:00 pm Admirals games on December 27th and 28th.
Stoughton and Sheboygan high schools will be first time participates in the Admirals Cup and will join Hartland Arrowhead, Cedarburg, Germantown, Marquette University High School, Mequon Homestead, Whitefish Bay-Nicolet-Shorewood (WNS). Each team will play three games and all of the squads will play one of their games on the BMO Harris Bradley Center ice.
The Admirals Cup will kick off with four games at the Mullett Center (700 North Avenue, Hartland, WI) beginning at 9:00 am on Wednesday, December 26th. Games will continue on the 27th at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at the Mullett Center and 12:06 pm and 2:46 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The Championship Game will take place on Friday, December 28th at 2:46 pm at the BMOBC. A complete schedule of games is attached.
In the opening round of the tournament top seeded and two-time defending tournament champions Marquette will square off with Arrowhead, WNS plays Sheboygan, Stoughton faces off against Germantown and Homestead battles Cedarburg.
The Championship team will then be honored during the Admirals game versus the Peoria Rivermen on Friday evening. In addition, the Admirals will make a $2,000 donation to each of the teams participating in the showdown.
All of the games for The Admirals Cup are free to attend. For Bradley Center games, fans should enter the building through Lobby A, with doors opening at 11:30 am on the 27th and 28th. The Championship Game will also be replayed on Sports 32 on Time Warner Cable in Southeast Wisconsin the following week.
This is the seventh season of high school hockey at the Bradley Center and the third with Bradley Corporation as the presenting sponsor.
