Admirals Set 15-16 Schedule
Milwaukee, WI—Led by fourth year Head Coach Dean Evason, the Admirals will kick off the 2015-16 season on the road against the Chicago Wolves on Saturday, October 10 at 7 pm. The Ads will open the home portion of their schedule the following Friday, October 16th when they play host the Charlotte Checkers at 7 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The 76-game, unbalanced regular season schedule will conclude six months later in Rockford on April 16th.
This year’s schedule features the Admirals’ inaugural school day game, which will played in front of thousands of elementary, middle, and high school students and begin at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 11th against the Lake Erie Monsters.
The Admirals longest homestand of the season comes early, with eight straight at the BMOHBC from November 18 through December 4th. Besides that the team’s longest stretch at home is four games from February 20 to the 26th.
Milwaukee’s road schedule is fairly balanced with two four game road swings, January 15-23 and April 5-10, as the longest they’ll face all season.
December is the most busiest month of the season for the Admirals, both in terms of overall games (15) and home contests (8). The Ads will also have eight home games in November and 19 home contests before January 1, their most during that time since joining the AHL in 2001.
The Chicago Wolves and Rockford IceHogs will each make six trips to the BMO Harris Bradley Center, while the Manitoba Moose, Grand Rapids Griffins, Iowa Wild, Lake Erie Monsters and Charlotte Checkers will visit four times each. The Admirals host the Texas Stars and San Antonio Rampage two times, while AHL newcomers the San Diego Gulls and Bakersfield Condors will both come to Milwaukee once.
The puck will drop at 7 pm at all home games except the School Day Game on November 11 and the three Sunday home contests. Sunday, December 6 and Sunday, February 21 will both begin at 3 pm, while Sunday February 14th commences at 5 pm.
