Peverley notched an assist and was +2 in his first NHL game against the Anaheim Ducks March 4th, 2007. In total, he has skated in 18 career NHL games, recording one point, nine shots and a -1 rating.

A four-year pro, Peverley led the Admirals in scoring last season with 68 points (30g-28a) in 66 games and also finished the season +9. During his rookie year of 2005-06 he recorded 12 goals and dished our 34 assists for 46 points in 65 games. He also contributed a pair of goals and nine assists in the post-season as the Admirals made a run to the Calder Cup Finals.

Of the 427 players to take part in the AHL All-Star Classic since 1995, more than 93 percent have competed in the National Hockey League, including Patrice Bergeron, Brad Boyes, Daniel Briere, Zdeno Chara, Jonathan Cheechoo, Pavol Demitra, Rick DiPietro, Patrik Elias, Ray Emery, Jiri Hudler, Miikka Kiprusoff, Kari Lehtonen, Ryan Miller, Martin St. Louis, Jason Spezza, Eric Staal and Steve Sullivan.
