Ads Drop Regular Season Home Finale

Milwaukee, WI— The Admirals found more clarity in the playoff picture as they fall 8-0 to the Grand Rapids Griffins Friday night at historic Panther Arena. The Ads will now start their 2026 Calder Cup Playoff journey on the road against either Manitoba or Texas next week in a three-game play in series.

Despite entering the game having won three straight, Milwaukee gave up a season high eight goals courtesy of seven different goal scorers from the Griffins.

For the Admirals, Ben Strinden made his professional debut in the game. The 23-year-old tallied 35 points in 38 games for the University of North Dakota this season.

Grand Rapids goaltender Michal Postava completed a season long shutout of the Admirals with tonight’s performance. He faced 53 shots across three games against Milwaukee and denied each of them.

After scoring three goals in each of the first two periods, the Griffins added two more in the final stanza, netting eight on 38 shots attempted.

The Admirals complete the regular season with a pair of games on the road in Chicago on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th. After the regular season concludes on Sunday, Milwaukee will then learn their fate as to where they will play in the first round of the playoffs next week.
