Milwaukee, WI—Admirals Associate Coach Greg Rallo has been selected to the coaching staff for TeamUSA at the upcoming Hlinka Gretzky Cup coming up from August 3-8 in Edmonton, AB.
The Hlinka Gretzky Cup is a best-on-best 18U Tournament featuring eight of the top countries from around the world. TeamUSA, who is the defending champions, will play preliminary games against Czechia, Finland, and Germany with the top two teams from that group heading to the semifinal round.
Rallo is entering his eighth season behind the bench with the Ads and his second as Associate Coach. During his time in Milwaukee, Rallo has helped the team accumulate a 276-166-35-15 record, an impressive .612 points percentage. That includes four, 40-win seasons and back-to-back Central Division titles (2024 & 2025) for the first time since the team joined the AHL in 2001. In addition, the team has qualified for the Calder Cup Playoffs in each season the Gurnee, IL has been behind the bench.
Rallo joins a coach staff for the tournament that includes Admiral Alums Reid Cashman (Head Coach) and Alex Westlund (Goalie Coach) as well as University of Wisconsin Assistant Coach Todd Knott and Troy Thibodeau from Miami University.
