Ads Extend Win Streak to 4

Goalie Connor Ingram stopped 30 shots for his third shutout of the season, leading the Milwaukee Admirals to a 1-0 victory over the Grand Rapids Griffins Wednesday at Van Andel Arena.

Milwaukee has won four straight games and has recorded points in six straight (4-0-0-2). Milwaukee moved to within a game of .500 for the first time since the third game of the season.

Ingram earned his 15th career shutout as he stopped 24 shots over the final two periods. In his last four games, Ingram is 4-0-0 and has stopped 129 of 134 shots in those contests.

Milwaukee scored a first period power play goal to take a 1-0 lead at 16:17. Matt Donovan’s shot from the middle of the blue line was deflected by a Griffins defender who got his stick on Donovan’s shot. The puck knuckled into the net off the left post with Cole Schneider screening the goalie. Donovan was credited with his sixth goal of the season, assisted by Rocco Grimaldi and Tommy Novak.

The Admirals return home Fri., Jan. 28 to host the Rockford IceHogs at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
