Milwaukee, WI— The Admirals announced today that the team has signed defenseman Turner Ottenbreit to an American Hockey League contract for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

Ottenbreit spent the 2023-24 season with Kunlun Red Star of the Kontinental Hockey League, accumulating eight points on a goal and seven assists in 64 contests. Prior to his time in the KHL, the Yorkton, SK native spent parts of four seasons with the Iowa Wild he scored nine goals and dished out 29 assists for 38 points in 175 games.

Prior to turning Ottenbreit spent four seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League, serving as team Captain in his final campaign. He helped the Thunderbirds to the WHL Title in 2016-17 and during his time there collected 108 points (24g-84a), 338 penalty minutes and an impressive +76 rating in 284 games played.

Ottenbreit will look to make his Admirals debut on Friday, December 13th when the team hosts the Iowa Wild at 7 pm at Panther Arena.
